It's not easy being Green. I guess that all depends on what type of green you mean. dollars vs sense. This is what I mean by that. One if you even hint that the science behind man made global warming is questionable you are crucified. Gee I wonder why the media is so hell bent on this type of agenda and talking about other real science that doesn't support the man made theory. There has been no critical reviews of the IPCC work on man made global warming. Well here is a good reason. Carbon trading is projected to be a 120 billion to 2 trillion dollar business. It has already destablized third world economies with taxes on trade so international banks can sell credits at a premium markup and growing economies don't have to slow production. Trillions of dollars go into the global environmental facility which is a part of the World Bank. Finally because of this centralization the real environmental movement could take a serious beating if the IPCC goes down from any type of PR nightmare. What a total cluster fuck.

Baguette Dropped From Bird's Beak Shuts Down The Large Hadron Collider (Really)

The Large Hadron Collider, the world's most powerful particle accelerator, just cannot catch a break. First, a coolant leak destroyed some of the magnets that guide the energy beam. Then LHC officials postponed the restart of the machine to add additional safety features. Now, a bird dropping a piece of bread on a section of the accelerator has, according to the Register, shut down the whole operation.

The bird dropped some bread on a section of outdoor machinery, eventually leading to significant over heating in parts of the accelerator. The LHC was not operational at the time of the incident, but the spike produced so much heat that had the beam been on, automatic failsafes would have shut down the machine.

This incident won't delay the reactivation of the facility later this month, but exposes yet another vulnerability of the what might be the most complex machine ever built. With freak accident after freak accident piling up over at CERN, the idea of time traveling particles returning from the future to prevent their own discovery is beginning to seem less and less far fetched.

Projective Synthetic Geometry in Lady Frieda Harris' Tarot Paintings and in Aleister Crowley's Book of the Law

It was in 1904 when the english magician Aleister Crowley wrote the the Book of the Law. It was dictated by a praeter-human intelligence calling itself Aiwass. The book consists of three chapters written down in Cairo on 8th, 9th and 10th April at noon.

33 years later, Crowley met the artist painter Lady Frieda Harris. He had decided to create a new Tarot deck and asked Harris to paint the cards according his ideas, that is according his instructions. Harris agreed, became a member of the O.T.O. and they becan their work. A lot of the cards had to be painted several times. The drafts still are in private possession while the final originals can be found at the Warburg Institute London, a part of the University Library.

The Library Warburg was founded in 1903 by the jewish son of a banker, Aby Warburg in Hamburg. At the beginning of the Nazi regime in 1933, the complete collection (80,000 books) was sent to London where the Warburg Institute now was founded. There, I was able to study the original Tarot paintings. I also saw the unpublished drafts of earlier versions, in private ownership. Lady Frieda Harris painted far more versions than the published ones. All in all, she worked five years on them.

At the end of his life, Crowley wrote a book about this new Tarot, called The Book Thoth. About the card The Aeon Crowley wrote in the Book Thoth:
>This new Tarot may therefore be regarded as a series of illustrations to the Book of the Law; the doctrine of that Book is everywhere implicit.< (Book of Thoth, page 115)

If you cut out these cards and remove their frames, especially the trumps can be put together in a very harmonic fashion. Why so?

Crowley noted in the Book of Thoth that the harmony of the cards was proof of the correct application of symbols and colours of the holy cabballa, upon which this tarot was created. By making collages of these cards, I learned that the link between the peculiar cards was not only made through their colours or symbols but through their geometry. Which kind of geometry was used by Harris, which made these links possible?

Yesterday, McGovern told reporter Brad Friedman that he believes that the CIA may have assassinated John F. Kennedy.

He further told Friedman that he thinks Obama may be going easy on the CIA for its role in torturing prisoners because he is afraid that if he goes too hard on the CIA, they might assassinate him also."

During my interview last night with 27-year CIA analyst Ray McGovern on the Mike Malloy Show (which I've been guest hosting all this week), the man who used to personally deliver the CIA's Presidential Daily Briefings to George Bush Sr., among other Presidents, offered an extraordinarily chilling thought --- particularly coming from someone with his background.

In a conversation at the end of the hour (audio and transcript below), as I was trying to pin him down for an opinion on whether or not he felt it was appropriate for CIA Director Leon Panetta to have reportedly attempted to block a lawful investigation into torture and other war crimes committed by the CIA, McGovern alluded to a book about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and noted he felt it likely that both Panetta and President Obama may have reason to fear certain elements of the CIA.

"Let me just leave you with this thought," he said, "and that is that I think Panetta, and to a degree President Obama, are afraid --- I never thought I'd hear myself saying this --- I think they're afraid of the CIA."...

McGovern went on to note "the stakes are very high here," in relation to Attorney General Eric Holder's recently announced investigation of the CIA now under the direction of Panetta. "His main advisers and his senior staff are liable for prosecution for war crimes. The War Crimes statute includes very severe penalties, including capital punishment for those who, if under their custody, detainees die. And we know that at least a hundred have, so this is big stakes here."

He then recommended James W. Douglass' new book, JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters.

"He makes a very very persuasive case that it was President Kennedy's, um, the animosity that built up between him and the CIA after the Bay of Pigs, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, because he was reaching out to the Russians and so forth and so on. It's a very well-researched book and his conclusion is very alarming," the long-time CIA veteran noted in what turned out to be a chilling end to our interview in which he described "two CIAs".

One, he says, was created by President Truman to "give him the straight scoop without any fear or favor. And then its covert action arm, which really doesn't believe --- which doesn't belong in this agency." McGovern referred to that CIA "advisedly" as the President's "own personal gestapo" which acts without oversight by the Congressional committees once tasked to do so.

"And so if you're asking why Obama and Panetta are going very very kid-glove-ish with the CIA, I think part of the reason, or the explanation is they're afraid of these guys because these guys have a whole lot to lose if justice takes its course."

"So, it's pretty scary. Yes, it is," he concluded.

Scientists Confirm the Effectiveness of The Big Lie - People Will Go To Extraordinary Lengths to Create False Justifications for Government Misdeeds

This is no suprise but, it's nice to see some science back it up.

Adolph Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf:

All this was inspired by the principle--which is quite true in itself--that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

Similarly, Hitler's propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, wrote:

That is of course rather painful for those involved. One should not as a rule reveal one's secrets, since one does not know if and when one may need them again. The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.

Science has now helped to explain why the big lie is effective.

Specifically, sociologists from four major research institutions investigated why so many Americans believed that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11, years after it became obvious that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

The researchers found, as described in an article in the journal Sociological Inquiry (and re-printed by Newsweek):

* Many Americans felt an urgent need to seek justification for a war already in progress

* Rather than search rationally for information that either confirms or disconfirms a particular belief, people actually seek out information that confirms what they already believe.

* "For the most part people completely ignore contrary information."

* "The study demonstrates voters' ability to develop elaborate rationalizations based on faulty information"

* People get deeply attached to their beliefs, and form emotional attachments that get wrapped up in their personal identity and sense of morality, irrespective of the facts of the matter.

* "We refer to this as 'inferred justification, because for these voters, the sheer fact that we were engaged in war led to a post-hoc search for a justification for that war.

* "People were basically making up justifications for the fact that we were at war"

* "They wanted to believe in the link [between 9/11 and Iraq] because it helped them make sense of a current reality. So voters' ability to develop elaborate rationalizations based on faulty information, whether we think that is good or bad for democratic practice, does at least demonstrate an impressive form of creativity.

As the study notes, this tendency of many people to make up false stories to explain why we went to war and then to hold on to such false beliefs in the face of contrary evidence is "a serious challenge to democratic theory and practice". Until people learn to think more clearly and rationally, they are easily manipulated.

All a government has to do is tell a big enough lie, and many people will swallow it hook, line and sinker. Or the government can just do something big - like starting a war for no good reason (or giving trillions in bailouts to the wealthiest corporations instead of the "little people" who most need it?) - and many people will struggle mightily to themselves concoct false justifications for doing so.

This is a good article to check out regarding music therapy. Also check out the work of Oliver Sachs who the movie Awakenings was based on in addition to the book This Is Your Brain On Music by Daniel J. Levitin.

Trinity College professor, Dan Lloyd, has created a program that utilizes an MRI to scan brainwaves, enabling him to choose different frequencies of sound to correlate with different parts of the brain. Volunteers to test the program were asked to watch scenery, to play a driving video game or to just relax. During this time, the active parts of the brain were converted into different frequencies, thus creating a musical sound. These “normal” brainwaves were then compared to brainwaves from subjects with dementia and schizophrenia, who produced rhythms that were “unsteady” and with “cadences.” The discovery may help pinpoint brain injuries that don't typically appear on a normal brain scan. Besides lending innovation in the neuroscience field, the results were “bizarrely beautiful” and unique to each person.

It backs up many theories I've heard. Elite families with vast amounts of wealth have a very high level of influence over International Banking. Also that climate change has been used as a scare tactic / propaganda for the masses so elites can control another market and create another bubble to profit from. Whether they have the scientist paid for, or climate change is being mostly created by humans in my opinion the jury is out. If you understand who controls the network media and recognize they only tell one side of the story it would not be a big stretch to come to this sort of conclusion.

The piece has generated controversy, with Goldman Sachs firing back that Taibbi's piece is "an hysterical compilation of conspiracy theories" and a spokesman adding, "We reject the assertion that we are inflators of bubbles and profiteers in busts, and we are painfully conscious of the importance in being a force for good." Taibbi shot back: "Goldman has its alumni pushing its views from the pulpit of the U.S. Treasury, the NYSE, the World Bank, and numerous other important posts; it also has former players fronting major TV shows. The first thing you need to know about Goldman Sachs is that it's everywhere. The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money.

Any attempt to construct a narrative around all the former Goldmanites in influential positions quickly becomes an absurd and pointless exercise, like trying to make a list of everything. What you need to know is the big picture: If America is circling the drain, Goldman Sachs has found a way to be that drain — an extremely unfortunate loophole in the system of Western democratic capitalism, which never foresaw that in a society governed passively by free markets and free elections, organized greed always defeats disorganized democracy.

They achieve this using the same playbook over and over again. The formula is relatively simple: Goldman positions itself in the middle of a speculative bubble, selling investments they know are crap. Then they hoover up vast sums from the middle and lower floors of society with the aid of a crippled and corrupt state that allows it to rewrite the rules in exchange for the relative pennies the bank throws at political patronage. Finally, when it all goes bust, leaving millions of ordinary citizens broke and starving, they begin the entire process over again, riding in to rescue us all by lending us back our own money at interest, selling themselves as men above greed, just a bunch of really smart guys keeping the wheels greased. They've been pulling this same stunt over and over since the 1920s — and now they're preparing to do it again, creating what may be the biggest and most audacious bubble yet.
The basic scam in the Internet Age is pretty easy even for the financially illiterate to grasp. Companies that weren't much more than pot-fueled ideas scrawled on napkins by up-too-late bong-smokers were taken public via IPOs, hyped in the media and sold to the public for megamillions. It was as if banks like Goldman were wrapping ribbons around watermelons, tossing them out 50-story windows and opening the phones for bids. In this game you were a winner only if you took your money out before the melon hit the pavement.

It sounds obvious now, but what the average investor didn't know at the time was that the banks had changed the rules of the game, making the deals look better than they actually were. They did this by setting up what was, in reality, a two-tiered investment system — one for the insiders who knew the real numbers, and another for the lay investor who was invited to chase soaring prices the banks themselves knew were irrational. While Goldman's later pattern would be to capitalize on changes in the regulatory environment, its key innovation in the Internet years was to abandon its own industry's standards of quality control.

Goldman's role in the sweeping global disaster that was the housing bubble is not hard to trace. Here again, the basic trick was a decline in underwriting standards, although in this case the standards weren't in IPOs but in mortgages. By now almost everyone knows that for decades mortgage dealers insisted that home buyers be able to produce a down payment of 10 percent or more, show a steady income and good credit rating, and possess a real first and last name. Then, at the dawn of the new millennium, they suddenly threw all that shit out the window and started writing mortgages on the backs of napkins to cocktail waitresses and ex-cons carrying five bucks and a Snickers bar.

And what caused the huge spike in oil prices? Take a wild guess. Obviously Goldman had help — there were other players in the physical-commodities market — but the root cause had almost everything to do with the behavior of a few powerful actors determined to turn the once-solid market into a speculative casino. Goldman did it by persuading pension funds and other large institutional investors to invest in oil futures — agreeing to buy oil at a certain price on a fixed date. The push transformed oil from a physical commodity, rigidly subject to supply and demand, into something to bet on, like a stock. Between 2003 and 2008, the amount of speculative money in commodities grew from $13 billion to $317 billion, an increase of 2,300 percent. By 2008, a barrel of oil was traded 27 times, on average, before it was actually delivered and consumed.
The history of the recent financial crisis, which doubles as a history of the rapid decline and fall of the suddenly swindled-dry American empire, reads like a Who's Who of Goldman Sachs graduates. By now, most of us know the major players. As George Bush's last Treasury secretary, former Goldman CEO Henry Paulson was the architect of the bailout, a suspiciously self-serving plan to funnel trillions of Your Dollars to a handful of his old friends on Wall Street. Robert Rubin, Bill Clinton's former Treasury secretary, spent 26 years at Goldman before becoming chairman of Citigroup — which in turn got a $300 billion taxpayer bailout from Paulson. There's John Thain, the asshole chief of Merrill Lynch who bought an $87,000 area rug for his office as his company was imploding; a former Goldman banker, Thain enjoyed a multibillion-dollar handout from Paulson, who used billions in taxpayer funds to help Bank of America rescue Thain's sorry company. And Robert Steel, the former Goldmanite head of Wachovia, scored himself and his fellow executives $225 million in golden-parachute payments as his bank was self-destructing. There's Joshua Bolten, Bush's chief of staff during the bailout, and Mark Patterson, the current Treasury chief of staff, who was a Goldman lobbyist just a year ago, and Ed Liddy, the former Goldman director whom Paulson put in charge of bailed-out insurance giant AIG, which forked over $13 billion to Goldman after Liddy came on board. The heads of the Canadian and Italian national banks are Goldman alums, as is the head of the World Bank, the head of the New York Stock Exchange, the last two heads of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York — which, incidentally, is now in charge of overseeing Goldman.

But then, something happened. It's hard to say what it was exactly; it might have been the fact that Goldman's co-chairman in the early Nineties, Robert Rubin, followed Bill Clinton to the White House, where he directed the National Economic Council and eventually became Treasury secretary. While the American media fell in love with the story line of a pair of baby-boomer, Sixties-child, Fleetwood Mac yuppies nesting in the White House, it also nursed an undisguised crush on Rubin, who was hyped as without a doubt the smartest person ever to walk the face of the Earth, with Newton, Einstein, Mozart and Kant running far behind.

Rubin was the prototypical Goldman banker. He was probably born in a $4,000 suit, he had a face that seemed permanently frozen just short of an apology for being so much smarter than you, and he exuded a Spock-like, emotion-neutral exterior; the only human feeling you could imagine him experiencing was a nightmare about being forced to fly coach. It became almost a national cliché that whatever Rubin thought was best for the economy — a phenomenon that reached its apex in 1999, when Rubin appeared on the cover of Time with his Treasury deputy, Larry Summers, and Fed chief Alan Greenspan under the headline the committee to save the world. And "what Rubin thought," mostly, was that the American economy, and in particular the financial markets, were over-regulated and needed to be set free. During his tenure at Treasury, the Clinton White House made a series of moves that would have drastic consequences for the global economy — beginning with Rubin's complete and total failure to regulate his old firm during its first mad dash for obscene short-term profits.

After the oil bubble collapsed last fall, there was no new bubble to keep things humming — this time, the money seems to be really gone, like worldwide-depression gone. So the financial safari has moved elsewhere, and the big game in the hunt has become the only remaining pool of dumb, unguarded capital left to feed upon: taxpayer money. Here, in the biggest bailout in history, is where Goldman Sachs really started to flex its muscle.

It began in September of last year, when then-Treasury secretary Paulson made a momentous series of decisions. Although he had already engineered a rescue of Bear Stearns a few months before and helped bail out quasi-private lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Paulson elected to let Lehman Brothers — one of Goldman's last real competitors — collapse without intervention. ("Goldman's superhero status was left intact," says market analyst Eric Salzman, "and an investment-banking competitor, Lehman, goes away.") The very next day, Paulson greenlighted a massive, $85 billion bailout of AIG, which promptly turned around and repaid $13 billion it owed to Goldman. Thanks to the rescue effort, the bank ended up getting paid in full for its bad bets: By contrast, retired auto workers awaiting the Chrysler bailout will be lucky to receive 50 cents for every dollar they are owed.

Immediately after the AIG bailout, Paulson announced his federal bailout for the financial industry, a $700 billion plan called the Troubled Asset Relief Program, and put a heretofore unknown 35-year-old Goldman banker named Neel Kashkari in charge of administering the funds. In order to qualify for bailout monies, Goldman announced that it would convert from an investment bank to a bank-holding company, a move that allows it access not only to $10 billion in TARP funds, but to a whole galaxy of less conspicuous, publicly backed funding — most notably, lending from the discount window of the Federal Reserve. By the end of March, the Fed will have lent or guaranteed at least $8.7 trillion under a series of new bailout programs — and thanks to an obscure law allowing the Fed to block most congressional audits, both the amounts and the recipients of the monies remain almost entirely secret.

Converting to a bank-holding company has other benefits as well: Goldman's primary supervisor is now the New York Fed, whose chairman at the time of its announcement was Stephen Friedman, a former co-chairman of Goldman Sachs. Friedman was technically in violation of Federal Reserve policy by remaining on the board of Goldman even as he was supposedly regulating the bank; in order to rectify the problem, he applied for, and got, a conflict-of-interest waiver from the government. Friedman was also supposed to divest himself of his Goldman stock after Goldman became a bank-holding company, but thanks to the waiver, he was allowed to go out and buy 52,000 additional shares in his old bank, leaving him $3 million richer. Friedman stepped down in May, but the man now in charge of supervising Goldman — New York Fed president William Dudley — is yet another former Goldmanite.

The collective message of all of this — the AIG bailout, the swift approval for its bank-holding conversion, the TARP funds — is that when it comes to Goldman Sachs, there isn't a free market at all. The government might let other players on the market die, but it simply will not allow Goldman to fail under any circumstances. Its edge in the market has suddenly become an open declaration of supreme privilege. "In the past it was an implicit advantage," says Simon Johnson, an economics professor at MIT and former official at the International Monetary Fund, who compares the bailout to the crony capitalism he has seen in Third World countries. "Now it's more of an explicit advantage."
Fast-forward to today. It's early June in Washington, D.C. Barack Obama, a popular young politician whose leading private campaign donor was an investment bank called Goldman Sachs — its employees paid some $981,000 to his campaign — sits in the White House. Having seamlessly navigated the political minefield of the bailout era, Goldman is once again back to its old business, scouting out loopholes in a new government-created market with the aid of a new set of alumni occupying key government jobs.

Gone are Hank Paulson and Neel Kashkari; in their place are Treasury chief of staff Mark Patterson and CFTC chief Gary Gensler, both former Goldmanites. (Gensler was the firm's co-head of finance.) And instead of credit derivatives or oil futures or mortgage-backed CDOs, the new game in town, the next bubble, is in carbon credits — a booming trillion- dollar market that barely even exists yet, but will if the Democratic Party that it gave $4,452,585 to in the last election manages to push into existence a groundbreaking new commodities bubble, disguised as an "environmental plan," called cap-and-trade. The new carbon-credit market is a virtual repeat of the commodities-market casino that's been kind to Goldman, except it has one delicious new wrinkle: If the plan goes forward as expected, the rise in prices will be government-mandated. Goldman won't even have to rig the game. It will be rigged in advance.

Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.

The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"

Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically.

"Maybe," the farmer replied. The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed.

"Maybe," replied the old man. The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "Maybe," answered the farmer. The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "Maybe," said the farmer.
To appreciate wholeness entirely, you must appreciate absence and emptiness as well. A wheel is of no use without a hole for the axle to go through. A house without doors and windows has no purpose. A bag without an opening in it cannot hold anything. Music exists both because there are notes and because there are silences between the notes.

Stories that illustrate the foundation of Zen philosophy
>A says he is not afraid. B says he is not afraid and he is also not afraid of being afraid. The first statement comes from a mind that is tight and assertive—a mind that clings to fixed viewpoints. The second statement comes from a mind that is nimble and free-flowing—a mind that does not cling to fixed viewpoints. The first type of mind is an 180º mind, represented by a half circle. The second is a 360º mind, represented by a full circle.

The 360º mind does not have any preconceived notions—not even the preconceived notion that there should not be any preconceived notions. The 360º mind is open, flexible and uncontrived. It is without blocks and always change-ready.

WHITE BELT

When a novice starts learning martial arts, he wears a white belt, symbolic of innocence. After months of practice, the white belt gets dirty and turns brown, symbolic of the first degree of attainment. After more practice, the belt gets soiled and eventually turns black, symbolic of full attainment.

If the practitioner does not stop learning even after full attainment, the black belt starts getting frayed, turning almost white, symbolic of return to innocence. The frayed white belt represents technical competence of an experienced martial artist, combined with the innocence and receptivity of a beginner. It signifies going beyond technique and embracing no-technique—coming full circle.

PICASSO'S CHILD

Once Picasso said: "I used to draw like Raphael. But it has taken me a lifetime to draw like a child."

Picasso was a competent artist when he drew like Raphael. He became a great artist only when he awakened the child in him and started drawing without any pre-determined technique.

The same is true of every art. For example, the contribution of technique in the work of a competent musician is 100 per cent. But the contribution of technique in the work of a great musician is only 10 per cent or so—the remaining 90 per cent being contributed by the child in the musician. Only when you transcend technique, you become great in your field. You come full circle.

KABIR'S COMPLAINT

Kabir never accepted any gift from his disciples. But his son Kamal never refused anything that his disciples brought to him. This made Kabir unhappy.

One day, he reproached his son: "I do not accept any gift because gifts mean nothing to me. But it pains me to know that you grab all that your disciples bring to you."

Kamal said: "Father, if gifts mean nothing to you, why are you bothered whether I accept them or reject them?" Here, Kabir had an 180º mind, and Kamal a 360º one.

THE VIRTUOUS KING

When Boddhidharma visited China in the sixth century, he was invited to the King's court. The king was proud of his spirituality and the good deeds he had done for his people. He narrated what all he had done to promote religion and then asked Boddhidharma's opinion about the merit he earned.

Boddhidharma's reply was blunt: "No merit."

Obviously, being virtuous was not a great virtue in Boddhidharma's scheme of things. The king had an 180º mind. Boddhidharma had a 360º mind. You can't be spiritual as long as you wear the badge of spirituality. Taking off the badge is coming full circle.

NOTHING GREAT

Once there was a conference of religions to which all faiths sent their representatives. Every representative stated forcefully that his religion was great. When it was the turn of Zen's representative, he stated truthfully: "There is nothing great in Zen."

A member of the audience with a deep understanding of Zen got up and said: "Your saying that there is nothing great in Zen actually makes Zen sound as something great. So you should not have said there is nothing great in Zen."

The Zen representative had an 180º mind. The member of the audience had a 360º mind.

A GOB OF SPIT

For years, Henry Miller lived the life of a would-be writer. He was 45 when he wrote his first book Tropic of Cancer in 1934. Here is what he writes in the opening page:

"I have no money, no resources, no hopes. I am the happiest man alive. A year ago, six months ago, I thought that I was an artist. I no longer think about it, I am (author's italic). Everything that was literature has fallen from me. There are no more books to be written, thank God. "This then? This is not a book. This is libel, slander, and defamation of character. This is not a book, in the ordinary sense of the word. No, this is a prolonged insult, a gob of spit in the face of Art, a kick in the pants of God, Man, Destiny, Time, Love, Beauty. what you will. I am going to sing for you, a little off-key perhaps, but I will sing. I will sing while you croak, I will dance over your dirty corpse."

Henry Miller could not have written such a powerful book if he had not got over his romanticized visions of becoming a writer. He could write the book he did precisely because there were "no more books to be written."

With the transition from "I thought that I was an artist" to "I am", he had come full circle. As a result, he went beyond mere writing to "singing"—not to mention the funny things he did to God and the like in the process.

THE MUMBAI SCHOOL

Do you have free will? If you believe you do, then you have an 180º mind. The alternative seems to be the view that there is no free will.

A well-meaning, emerging school of thought in Mumbai, India, has been hammering into people's minds that free will is an illusion and without God's will you can't make the slightest move. This viewpoint is also indicative of an 180º mind.

Insisting that it is all God's will is as much a concept as insisting that you have free will. When something happens, it just happens. Sometimes it seems that you made it happen. Some other times it seems that it happened by itself or God (or the totality) made it happen. How you view the happening is more a question of perspective than of fact. Which means that the so-called your will and God's will are both labels. Taking off the labels is to come full circle.

THE MIRROR EFFECT

Certain things in the world appeal to you. Certain other things don't. You have your considered opinions about different issues. You may believe there is a benign power somewhere that cares for you. You may believe it's a chaotic world without any rhyme or reason.

How you perceive the world not only tells about the world, but it is also a reflection of how your mind works. Seeing your own mind in how the world appears to you is to come full circle.

ONE THING

When you strive for enlightenment, it's an 180º vision. When enlightenment happens, it's nothing like what you believed it to be. Then enlightenment and unenlightenment don't seem to be two things.

Saying that they are two things and saying that they are one thing also don't appear to be two things. With that realization, you come full circle. The core of this piece does not lie in what has been stated but in what has not been stated. When you see that, you'll come full circle.

With that hint, it is time for this piece to come full circle as well.

There is more to life than what we are being told on more levels than just one. Much has been hidden from us about the nature of ourselves, nature herself, and the illusionary construct that is know as the world. What is observable to one can “not” be observable to another, because of the limiting aspect their beliefs can have on their own perceptions. The limits depend upon the thinking that gave rise to the outer aspect that has manifested from the inner mind of the collective conscious that is formed from the consensus 'reality' that the individual has given ‘himself’ over to. The more that individuals place their belief in dysfunctional ideas, the more opportunity that dysfunction will manifest in the world in one shape or another. This leads us to some primary questions: Who or what is responsible for molding the collective mind field that it has manifested in such a condition to give rise to this ‘world’ as we know it today? Who has the courage to seek the unadulterated truth of it and not turn from the lessons it is teaching us, while falling into some form of denial? And, who or what is ‘benefiting’ and promoting that denial?

This is an interesting clip I found relating to alchemy, manotomic gold, Egypt and future technologies. I want to point out a few things about what is being said in this presentation regarding Moses, mana, the metaphysical nature of light, and the stargate. First when I hear the presenter discuss Moses I would agree with Ralph Ellis, Michael Tsarion, and other researchers that this is Akhenaten or Aton. It throws up major questions regarding the possible reason for his interest and application of the substance manotomic gold. Knowing the solar cult sun worshiping Egyptian Pharaoh was the first to have monotheistic domination in Egypt, known as the precurser to JudeoChristianity, we can then determine deep symbiotic relationship to the metaphysical nature of light. Here is our possible luciferian connection. The old Judaic God Jehohva or Lucifer the light bringer who is the only true light or sun. I some how find it quite easy tie these concepts together into the religous traditions of western civilization. this secret society information. You receive the first manual that states you and your family will be set up for continued wealth. The first volume is set up into three sections. Volume One - The Self Capture Discovery Volume Two - The Company Capture Discovery Volume Three - The World Capture Discovery. The first page has a stop sign with the bottom corners missing coming to a point. In this figure states, The Neo – Tech System STOOD THE TEST OF TIME Little known money making system from the '80s comes roaring forth in the 21st Century as the little guy's answer to sudden job loss Your Immunization, Inoculation, Antidote, To America's Great Job Exodus, Giant Corporate Collapses, Job Depleting Mergers, Sudden Job Losses. Then comes a kind of testimonial describing how this gentleman's brother in law lost his job and all his money. He tells his brother that he needs protection. In this new way of living called Neo – Tech and a new way of thinking called Neothink you become immune to these hard comings. Here is a quote from the first few pages. " His money/power diamonds, now in your hands, had my head spinning with their illuminative rays of new techniques." Illuminative Rays? Those that have researched these types of words understand the atonistic origins used to explain this knowledge or experience. The next section gets talks about the five expressions you need to familiarize yourself with.

1. The White Collar Hoax
2. The Bicameral Mentality
3. Mysticism
4. The Neothink Mentality
5. Neo Tech

First the White Collar Hoax. They state that the writer of the Neo Tech system predicted the recent scandals. Those scandals included Enron, Global Crossing, and WorldCom. It just plays on common mans fears of monetary failure to get them to further buy into there system. Second the Bicameral Mentality. I agree that this is significant knowledge. I find more relevance here to their mention then most because a serious component is missing. From a common perspective the Bicameral Mentality makes perfect sense to be something of a primitive nature when looking at the modern day advancements of todays society compared with societies of the recent past. We have come so far from our primitive roots. I agree with the fact that man in the past listened to the voice of the so called Gods and the reason we listen to those political and religious powers relates to this Bicameral Mind set . The one critical element that is completely left out of this discussion is the concept of the ego and its origins in man. I equate what they mean by Gods to what is equivalent to the Ego. Yes mans mind was connected directly to nature before the Bicameral mind in complete harmony but, what happened to the human to create this Bicameral mind, or voice of the Gods, or Egoism. There is a firm belief that it was some for of trama to the human being whether it was tampering with the very make up of our species or earth changes on a fantastic scale. In the Neo- Tech system they mention the Bicameral Mentality but, don't discuss its possible origins. How convenient. They also have their solution on how to fix this Bicameral Mentality which gets into the next section.
Third is Mysticism. They define this as "the mental condition that seeks guidance and answers from the external authority. Mysticism was rampant in the bicameral mentality as man tried to evoke the voices of the gods for guidance. Bicameral man routinely performed mystical rituals to evoke the gods. For example, bicameral man continually built mystical awe-inspiring statues, tombs, pyramids, colossuses to evoke the voices of the gods. The American Indians were bicameral when the first European explorers arrived. Mysticism was part of the Indians, survival mechanism, seeking guidance from the gods of nature. Although mysticism rose from the primitive mind, mysticism still resides in out minds today. We seek guidance from others with in our jobs, religions, governments. We seek easy, automatic answers to life's challenges. The mysticism in our minds in unnecessary: it is merely residual from the primitive mind and blocks us from integrating knowledge to guide ourselves." I would again say by denying man's origins pre Bicameral Mind and connecting Mysticism to the Ego that it would be easy to group mysticism into superstition. What about the great spiritual truths and highly evolved understanding of time and the stars in many great civilizations of the past. Does this equate to some superstitious practice threw false gods? This is absolutely horrendous to believe that mysticism was the problem. The only problem was the ego. During these times of the newly formed Bicameral Mind I would argue that mystics and shamans were the savior of the Human Race. This is the biggest fallacy and most dangerous lie the Neo Tech Secret Society has propagated in there literature.
The Fourth is the Neothink Mentality. This is the mentality that is simply left when Neo Tech says that residual mysticism is rid of. This will allow the Neo- Tech faithful to go beyond the capacity of today's conscious mind by freely integrating knowledge to guide itself. Remember knowledge is on thing wisdom is another. Neothink mind easily snaps together knowledge like puzzle pieces into growing puzzles that reveal puzzle pictures that even the smartest minds today could never conceive. Those spectacular Neothink puzzles, now possible by ordinary people through the Neo Tech System, go well beyond the capacity of even the smartest minds by taking a mentally manageable maximum integration unit of the mind and then integrating it with or snapping it together with yet another maximum integration unit of knowledge, one after the other. The smaller, mentally manageable units of knowledge integrate together like puzzle pieces into a larger and larger, perfectly integrated unit to form a super unit – a neo think puzzle. The Neothink puzzle goes will beyond the capacity of the mind through using special tools delivered in the following Neo tech System. The Neo- Tech System that follows is, in itself, and example of a Neothink puzzle revealing a never before seen puzzle picture – the division of essence – in which the ordinary person generates power and wealth. I am not sure what jigsaw puzzle they are referring to here but it sounds very innocuous and vague. I am reminded of Tran humanism and the Hive Mind. This language seems very artificial, cold and unnatural in it's orientation from my perspective. i will have to do some further research to understand the Jigsaw puzzle they are reffering to.
The Last is Neo – Tech. ( New techniques/ New technology ) Delivers an entirely new way of living that has been formally developing since the mid 1960s with the Nouveau Tech Society. When you read Neo Tech's money making system called the Neo – Tech System that follows, you will see that through Neothink, Neo – Tech breaks through boundaries. matter what the wimps say, you need iron grip control over everything now. In your hands is a turnkey manual for establishing immediate iron grip control over money, life, business and everything you manage. Such control has never before been converted into a practical, quick action tool. Any person can quickly learn personal situations. And that kind of domination will always yield rapid wealth and power. Half way through this manual you will have received

This is just the opening few pages. The only thing that worries me about this type of society is that under more stresses and possible breakdowns people may turn to groups of this nature in order to gain something and then what we have is just another pyramid like Religon and new Governmental structure with the same problems.

I do not believe in coincidence. There is a reason for everything and when this large volume of modern occultism happened to fall into my lap a little over a week ago at a friends house I was not only forced to confront its message but, also ponder the nature of its origins. There are those among us, vacant, backward almost soulless individuals that seemingly find the oppressed through the ages and give their lives a meaning in the pages of History and Religion. Some would refer to them as the elite. We do not challenge our selves to think that maybe it's those seemingly oppressed who give up their own power to help the backward elite. How does this occur. What is this story repeated through history and where is it going ? The Slave and The Master. The message seems to be one of salvation but, this kind of salvation is one of a complete denial of spirit and self. The ultimate escape, the ultimate control, and its meant for the ultimate victim. This label of victim is given with the denial of self and creates the ultimate avoidance of individual responsibility, the end of individuality, and the influx of ignorant masses. With this scenario comes the permission of complete control of every facet of human imagination. I am not certain that the ideas found in the main structure of this organization Nouveau Tech is this ultimate control but, the promise they give is one of power, knowledge and new understanding of reality when in fact it nothing of this sort. To me it looks like a crass attempt impower a capitalistic mindset who's goals are are for domination of everything. The victims of self give up there power, call them selves victims, and create the very alter of false knowledge these demigods feed on by working to control the masses. Those victims ask, who am I ? and the answer is, follow us and we will tell you why you suffer and how we can end this suffering all the while enticing them into complete bondage from the land of the real.

The one thing we all hold that is sacred to our being is our perspective. The idea of our unique nature that is sacred. I think there for I am. The natural man. Those rational beings reading these words would give up worldly positions to keep those unique personal experiences that provided us with meaning and the divine nature we are connected to. The problem we are seeing more and more in today's world is the exact opposite of this law, people who are willing to give up there self hood for knowledge dubed secret but, is of the most obtuse kind. We find this within the Nouveau Tech Secret Society literature in my opinion. Although some of the information is correct it seems to be routed in a pyramid of control like the old paradigms of the past evolving the hidden hand, or the darker side of knowledge. This is the ultimate goal of the power elite and those mysterious entities above them operating in the world of false myth and ego. Personally, I believe that nature will balance out these individuals in the end but, I see no reason to turn a blind eye on there propaganda once it is stumbled on, as long it is answered with real truth. Maybe for some this society can awaken the ignorant but, at what consequence for the rest of the world. To turn a blind eye in my opinion, is to become a willing servant of those perpetrators of false knowledge and false myth. So I find there is a real need to expose these ideologies and reasons for secrecy.

Hear is a serious mind bender for anyone that follows the work of Jake Kotze http://thebravenewworldorder.blogspot.com/. After I wrote the article on Edward Scissor Hands I went out with a few friends to a costume party around the inner harbor in Baltimore. Well, I was greeted by a girl dressed as Edward Scissor Hands as I had stated previously representing dark feminine energy and a man dressed as Scrooge representing Thoth McDuck. Immediately he new my exact reason for inquiry into his costume but, never in one moment out right eluded to Jakes Work. He did mention some very key topics and even manifested the conversation through strangers as we talked. We did indeed both have our unique grasp on various subjects and could relate with ease without many words exchanged. In reality we must awake the inner mind through the language of symbols. 911 And Duality

So I have been contemplating some on the polarities in Conciousness on the events of nine eleven. For those that follow numerology we understand that numbers are a language. Personally I am working my own understanding of the nine because it is close to my nature but I believe it to be completion or begining and end, to me eleven is a kind of duality that moves in two opposite directions like light and dark or good and bad. It also resembles the high priestess in the tarot. With two pillars forming an eleven. Nine is a master number, or singularity, see Marko Rodin's work on the nine. Eleven is duality. Well in my own mind I see it as a kind of splitting of the psyche with two different out comes. One is we keep the patriachal, solar, masculine destructive energy that well do anything and every thing to over power the intuitive part of our spiritual evolution this is the technocratic scientific dogma that has it's roots in the occult. Prime example being the work of Francis Bacon. Lynn Marzulli who's work I follow has an interesting take on the battle of good vs evil. Now bear with me on this theory, but he states that lucifer who is of course we know is light or masculine solar energy has the ultimate form of technology, which to me makes sense in theory. I know it sounds crazy but, imagine for a moment if technology progressed so far as to keep a soul or psyche locked into a prison. Like a matrix. All energy emits light but, physics has proven that there is more empty space in an atom than particles. We must embrace the void or nothingness. The only thing that is used to help prevent a negative outcome is we accept the power of the intuitive feminine nurturing part of the psyche and begin to heal the planet but, more importantly we must heal our selves. It's not the planet it's our self that needs to be healed. The planet is not being killed by us but is dying in that particular lineage of time because of our own consciousness. Even if you don't believe those selling you the truth from the top down you must see the bigger picture. The sun goes threw it's cycles and this is why the earth is heating up. Guess where the sun is getting this energy from. The center of our Milky Way where the greatest nothingness resides. That's a supermassive black hole. 11:11 is a kind of door way or mirror to describe a waking up on on this plane of existance. In any case nine is the completion of a ritual involving the eleven. Something interesting to point out as well is Jake Kotze work and his mentioning of K2 in reagrds to 911. Well K is the 11th letter in the alphabet so 11 11. Another point to make about the eleven eleven phenomenon would be that two elevens would signify the end of and beginning of the next cycle. Again the high priestess and the two columns form 11 11. Here are some of the other musings of this phenomena most of us are familiar with by now. The date of the attack 9 + 1 + 1 = 11, September 11 has 9 letters and 2 numbers. Of course the emergency phone number is 911. Sept 11th is the 254th day of the year. 2 + 5 + 4 = 11 After that date there are 111 days left to the end of the year. And the list goes on. In any case, I have discussed the 11:11 with many people who have experienced it's syncronities. I would awake days on end and look at my clock and see it. I would be in my car which was set an hour behind and see it. I thought I was crazy and brought it up to a friend and he had the same experiences. Even having it show up on a bar tab after I brought it up. Matter a fact when I first came on to this subject it was sparked by a person who's numerology was closely linked to 11. Mine is tied to the nine. The biggest laugh I got from a similar conversation came from a women who was a part of the female side of the Freemason's who was studying law. I regard her thinking as very linear less intuitive and in nature. Very robotic, artificial and judgmental. This is my own personal musings on numerology and nine eleven. The Bank of America's Bee Hive

Forgot to post this interesting story. So, I was walking home from work in downtown Baltimore and as usual I strolled by the Bank of America Building and something struck. I was reminded of the concept of Geomancy. Well, as I was lost in deep thought I looked over to my right and there was a stone carving of a Bee Hive on the building and above that were fashi. All around the building were owls. Gold owls, stone owls, and above that were golden dragons. The symbols are very esoteric but I also noticed the Drudic symbols of the acorn and oak leaves. I would like to point out here the address of 10 light street and it's occult properties. 10 is connected to light by way of the kabbalah and the conncept of the lightning through the ten sefirot. I would like to mention the residence of 10 downing street in london which is the office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the headquarters of her Majesty's Government. Getting back to the Bank of America, of course, I have to take a couple pics. Not but a minute goes by and I am approached by three security guards telling me that I can't take pics of the building. I ask why and they said private property and copy write. Well my response was " You honestly believe that " . I was on a public street. Any case it makes you wonder how far people will go to protect their own programming. Also below you will
see pictures outside the other Bank of America's location. I would like to point out that first and foremost the shape surrounding these structures is an octagon. If you follow Jake Kotze work he connects this shape to the concept of the stargate. The stargate is also a word for higher consciousness. In addition there are three pillars. One tall another not quite as tall and a third much smaller. For that answer you have to follow Jakes work on the pillarmid and the freemasonic tracing board. In addition there is water gushing from the center. So here we have the masculine, the feminine, the pillarmids and the stargate. What in the world is this doing out side the Bank of America. Well just visiting this place I can tell you that it is from my perspective it seems devoid of any positive life energy. Also keep in mind their symbol of the square, and red / blue, both degrees of Freemasonry. Immediately upon entering the facility with an a lady friend we were approached antagonistically by a security guard almost yelling MAY I HELP YOU. My friend told him that she needed to use the machine to get some money. We then went on our way past the disgusting convenience shops in the lobby with signs for Bawls Energy Drink. The computer didn't work she got frustrated and then proceeded to sing to get her spirits up. In my own mind I thought this place is almost lifeless. It was a very surreal experience.

New Programing In Your Reality Watch For It

First off I must make a point here to state that a dramatic shift has occurred with the programming that is taking place on the Tel Lie Vision. I will mention one channel in particular and why I see it as an extremely positive sign things are moving in the right direction as well as a recent event envolving the same organization. The event I am referring to is The Knights Templar's being pardoned by the Vatican. The Kights were helping to reveal Vatican secrets and were burned at the Stake on Fri the 13th. The show was on Nostradamus and the Secret Scroll. You can actually purchase this program online at the History channel store. Well in the program they went into incredible detail about the scroll with out any septic involved, unusual for the History Channel. Panel included psychic's, and other spiritual researchers They discussed ideas on how and why it was created. This particular scroll has recently been released from the Vaticans Library and in it are hundreds of pictures using deeply metaphysical art. The program also goes into how Nostradamus was aware of a 13th hidden zodiac at the center of the galaxy that predicted his end date of 2012. Now bear in mind this was the History Channel. Oh, and by the way one of the best programs I have seen on the Maya was on the following night resonating the theme of 2012.

Edward Scissor Hands Meets V

So I was watching this film and a couple of really deep metaphysical things stood out for me. In one scene where Edward is wearing this hat with the sign in red V. I understand that V represents the female. Example being the upside down triangular portion of the star of david. It is in plain site and he even bows his head where it takes up the entire screen. I am very familiar with the mythological concepts in the movie V for Vendetta and that the female EV Hammon or what could be referred to as Eve and Amon or Sun and Moon represents balancing dark feminine energy. Well in the movie V, V sacrifices him self through the birth of his character in fire to free EV. In Edward Scissor hands he also returns to his creative source the mansion on the hill for the only women he loves. In one movie the reward is freedom from an Orwellian society and in the other it is the end of a one seasoned world setting free Winnona Ryder's character Kim. Thus Scissor Hands creates the snow. You notice that all the female characters in Scissorhands are infatuated with there external appearance but, Kim is not. We see this so much as a kind of trap of the psyche on so many levels in todays society. The perfect world, or family/image. So V and Edward uses the female as a kind of conduit. This is an archetype bringing the goddess into balance threw the resolution in these two charaters. I am sure there are many more parallels that could be explored.

Miraculous Mystery

Here is recent real life experience that has recently occured. I found to be something of a mystery . I work in a restaurant as a waiter and at one of my tables were a group of Malpractice Lawyers. Well I was feeling completely charged with positive energy threw the day and decided to confront them on deeper level for some reason. My statement which was one that I didn't even think but, just blurted out when something like this. The only reason you guys have a job is because of the technocracy, network media, and pharmacratic powers that control the medical industry. They looked at me with slight confusion and silence. After my comment I spoke with a girl who I know has had issues dealing with health and her own children. Well she approached them and was handed the lawyers direct number. The most mysterious part of this is that I was approached by another waiter who is friends with this girl, asking for his card on our computer system which by the way had failed earlier. I told him twice that I didn't have it. Then the manager came up and told every one to look again. Well there it was and when they put it in the computer they found out that my table had got crossed with his but they payed the bill anyway. Now when the manager freaked out I acted cool explaining how to fix it. She got nervous and some how in a miraculous fashion I ended up with close to and extra $70 in my pocket. I gave $20 to the girl and $20 to the guy who's card got crossed and closed out no problem.

Let me follow up with this post......... The money that I walked with that was overlooked by the manager that night was eventually seen as an error but after I gave back the $69.00 and some change the very next day a different manager said that we were over the exact same amount. When I insinuated that it was the money I gave back he couldn't believe it, and completely blocked the idea out of his mind. On a side note my fellow worker never followed up with that lawyer but, I am convinced the money that I received initially was mine but, I thought it very interesting that it appeared out of no where.

TRANSCENDENCE THROUGH INTUITIVE THINKING

THE LAW

It is a fallacy to believe an ultimate truth outside of self. Here begins the deconstruction of any reality. There is only journey, no destination, only being, and becoming, no evolution or origin. The reason this Blog is called Atonation is to pay homage and respect to a researcher that has inspired as well as enlightened my views. His name is Micheal Tsarion and if you followed his work you would understand that Aton was an Egyptian Pharaoh. A lot of the evil we see in the world now, I believe, has manifested itself through his political and spiritual lineage. The loss of tribalism, shamanistic initiation, and the prevailence of the ego can be traced back to this exact individual. Aton birthed the one God or the Sun God and eventually the son of God. This was the beginning of our disconnection with the feminine goddess, the balance of light and dark aspects of pyche which effected our intuition and deep connection to nature. I believe we are in a kind of spiritual battle or as Tsarion would say a "War on Conciousness" but it is more sublte is is a kind of hidden war. I think that we have been looking for a kind of poer and it is a kind of Foucult concept of knowledge to power. But what is knowledge and what is power. Take for example self knowledge, of course, understood from a subjective point. I would and many philosophers would argue it is the only type of knowledge one can acquire. We are indeed self first and foremost and thus should have all the knowledge and understanding required but, we are told by so many societies and religions we need more. Apparently we are lost and need to find ourselves again. How and why did this occur? What is a true self and how do we find it. Are we in a kind of Faustian game. Is the entirety of western culture worshiping a promethian fatalism of sorts with all our progress and advancement. I think we have become to focused on the external on the material. We need to realign with our internal knowledge. If you use the metaphor of climbing a mountain it is in deed ones perspective at the top where all points of mans journey unite. We see his real past, present, and future. Humanity is at a crossroads and has a choice to make with it's place in the universe. Indeed we have never been capable of more possibilities. It is easy to see that we can elevate humanity or destroy but, what I believe is the most important discovery at this moment is acknowledging the role of consciousness and how it creates and determines reality. Once we grasp it's role the more we will become capable of with every breath. To have mastery of ones self is the definition of power in all it's form, not the power or control found so much today but, a universal gate keeper, and ultimate teacher of the experienced and the experiencer. Even though these concepts may seem complex and esoteric in form they are in fact simple and resonate strongly if we can set our egos aside and take a positive step in a real understanding of what it means to be human. This Blog is dedicated to all those that understand the true power of the human spirit and the vast expanses of creativity which reside in the smallest particle to the largest galaxy. I hope that what you may find here is more of an understanding of reality as well as an objective view regarding our relationship to the nature of duality in it's fundamental form. I believe that the root of evil in essence is perpetuated by three components that have a symbiotic relationship but, more importantly should never be viewed as any institution, group of individuals, or specific person. The three dynamics that I will more than likely touch on in various posts are - false myth - the ego - and the nonself- The false myth is the glue that holds human suffering together to form the main structure of what could be deemed as cultural devolution, examples - superstition, dogma, old paradigm/ new paradigm, vampirism, label making, technocratic sensationalism, and its by product- or the cultural institutions of religion, class, politics, and media. The power of the myth goes beyond the physical world and is, in fact, multidimensional. I will explain how this works in theory in the real world but, to preface it has to do with the nature of duality. Our brain is a quantum field and the myths are it's most powerful language. These myths are activated in the physical world through language but more importantly symbols. Once symbols are shared in a culture they turn on our collective imagination becoming a conduit for pychic enslavement or self knowledge. In culture they in themselves are recognized as having their own power and thus are given certain false rights and rituals. The universe is alive in this way and can be communicated with - There is no problem with symbols in this way because it's always working to expose the most powerful archetype in any given society. It is always a formulation of the collective conciousness. Religon as a false myth. Religon says that yes there is something wrong and that there is evil. An unseen boogeyman that must be defeated. I say there is no evil other than ignorance and the unatural. Yes, we should be worried with evil because it is a superstition and it should only be deemed as unatural or in discordence with our true self. That is the only evil in the world. Unnatural because it goes against nature. Nature will always balance itself to sustain and harmonize. Why would the psyche of man be any different. This is where fear comes into play and the biggest fallacy one can make, when it comes to consciousness. We can never be afraid of anything outside of our own thoughts and actions. This is the only sin that will be unforgivable because it is the essence and cornerstone of free will. It is the mechanism of colonization or a hive mechanical mind set. If you do not believe in free will by your actions but, more importantly, your belief then you are a slave to what ever power good or evil has in your own mind and by questioning your power and you are not being connected to your infinite self. On the other hand if we have free will then no one outside our own infinite consciousness can manipulate or create our reality other than ourselves and the conscious decisions we make. If our thoughts are our reality and we make our own decision about our perceptions and attitudes of the world, then any blame outside ourselves of someone controlling our reality will automatically give our true power away to create, confirm and perpetuate any false myth we tell ourselves. You see the dilemma. So by us believing in our own minds the power is outside ourselves we have there for by default just used our own belief system or real power to create the very reality we are in opposition to. Whether it's a big white bearded man in the sky of some alien intelligence from a far off galaxy, or some secret society with rituals and powerful magic, the myth is the same. The end is near and "they" will save us from ourselves. This is the nature of duality and the breaking down of unity or oneness in all myths and traditions. I call this concept the Cosmic Giggle. Ego - and the Nonself. This is the very birth of myth. There is no hero without a villain and no villian without a hero. Yes we create out own heros and villans. It is in our nature as we learn that we are powerless and become insecure with our selves beginning at birth and we try to prove something outside ourself for an entire life time. Sometimes it's the ones who create the biggest villian that become the biggest heros. This in my mind is the second biggest falacy with human consciousness after the first being denial of our true selves. Even though society has the ability to manipulate our beliefs and thoughts regarding the masked and ego we show the world, in the end, all we have to do is put the mask down and realize the game that is being played. It's never about who is right when it comes to the myth. We can all point at one another and play the blame game but the most powerful decision you have as a human is to take back your power by way of your own consciousness. It gives ones power away to those that are perpetuating the false myth. When some one sees themselves in the myth or as an actor in an imaginary play they can become strongly attached, associated, even stigmatized or socially ridiculed for this unbalanced relationship to the collective but, also find a role/identity with others which help spread these false myths. Even the altruistic can get wrapped up in this drama and do more harm than good by thinking they are working for a good cause by saving others but, more importantly they are identifying with those that are looking for salvation through a false myth. On the most basic level we realize when we are involved in a false myth and like a drug are hooked on the highs and lows given to those perpetrating it's manifestation. Just as a child does when they see a toy they want and a parent gives it to him or her rest assured the next time they go to that store the child will try the same routine. Symbols and language are the engine that connects the parts and lays the framework for any interaction between the spirit and physical universe. In this metaphor humanity is an engine that is connected and evolves through it's interaction in the environment and one another. The fuel that passes through and connects all the parts to its goal of reaching a given destination is it's culture or more importantly language/symbols. The most important thing we can acknowledge first about symbols is that symbols can be used to convey both positive and negative messages but it is the interaction with the individual that in the end makes the decision about what inherit power that symbol has. The more one works off thier survival base instincts and buys into the common cultural myths of the time, the more one is subject to the manipulation and power of symbols that would be seen as having a detrimental impact on ones consciousness. The more one is in tune with thier self guidence and intuition the more one will see and use symbols in a positive way to learn, value and teach universal truth. On of the most powerful examples I could use would be, the earth, the mother, and the goddess. It is attatchment through this myth and loss of self where fear is first known and wakes that part of our consciousness that is known as the ego which precedes attachment. The first attatchment we know is that of the mother, the earth is the mother and this is also known as the goddess. If there is any attachment that is stronger then anything we can experience as a human being this would be it. It's base instinct is one of survival. Now we can see this in many different ways looking at this as a false myth, and I will further explain in a cultural context being perpetrated in culture through the ages. As we become more attached to our survival, not only on a physical level but, a spiritual level, we see more false myth and blood shed through wars and religious ideology. Example: the dark ages. To die for your beliefs is noble and to save the world is noble, and to also save others but, at what cost. Again this is so important when it comes down to understanding how the human mind works and the psychology of manipulation. It seems like a great deed to defeat the bad guy and save the world but, fundamentally it can lead to a host of mental issues. This is George Orwell's world of backward logic, double speak, and double think that we witness so much in the world of religion and politics. Science and even studies on matter and how it interacts with thought confirms this relationship between consciousness and the outside world. Eventually we will not be able to deny this connection. I can name many examples of this. I believe that our real power and true selves have been forgotten and maybe we are slowly returning from the dark, but we certainly must recognize this critical moment in time where we will make a decision about our place in the universe or regress from all our potential. I will touch on what I believe are the most important investigations recently into this subject. Who is doing their part to uncover the truth and how our journey to this point is nothing more than a process of rediscovery. I am confident that when we finally understand what the self truly is humanity will awake and take it's proper place in the universe. I will be adding my thoughts to this post as I feel it relates to what I am working to convey. It also may be the start of a book. I haven't decided. So feel free to leave a comment.
